The agency's new division is branded Ci Create, which is an established brand in Australia.
Ci Events UK general manager Penny Lion said: "We are keen to grow our business in the UK and are looking at new business opportunities with the aim of doubling turnover in the next year. As a result, we require an in-house graphic design and production division."
Lion said Ci Events UK was targeting £12m turnover by mid 2011, and had launched a recruitment drive to appoint seven additional staff for Ci Events and Ci Create.
The agency has won £2.4m worth of new business in the past six months including work for existing clients Thomson Reuters, Hays, Asda and CGG Veritas.
