Jack Morton's work for The Army and P&G wins IVCA awards

The Army's 'Start Thinking Soldier' campaign run by Jack Morton Worldwide has won UK Event of the Year in the IVCA Awards.

Jack Morton also won the International Event of the Year for client Proctor and Gamble's Wella International Trend Vision Awards Final.

The IVCA Awards were held at Grosvenor House Hotel, in London on 26 March, and recognised communication achievements in live events, digital media, film and video.

IVCA chief executive Marco Forgione said: "Jack Morton and its clients' work has been judged to be inspirational and effective in delivering cultural shift, organisational change and substantial financial and business results."

Other award-winners were:

UK Event of the Year

  • Silver - BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2008, produced by Imagination for the BBC
  • Bronze - Sainsbury's Our Conference '09, produced by DRP Group for Sainsbury's

International Event of the Year

  • Silver - Tokio Hotel Virtual Tour & Media Markt, Produced by Musion System and Holicom for Universal Music & Media Markt
  • Bronze - Thomas Cook Inspiration Conference, produced by DRP Group for Thomas Cook
