The service is designed to help independent UK venues to compete with multi-national suppliers, and currently features 63 venues and service providers.
Connected Venues suppliers must be independent, relevant to the corporate meetings, incentive, conference and event markets, and connected to the UK as a destination.
Prosser said: "The Connected web portal is a fantastic resource for event planners around the world, offering them instant access to a range of independent hotels, venues and service-providers in the UK that would otherwise be difficult to locate. London is just a first step for Connected Venues. We are talking to partners from other major cities around the world and plan to launch a similar service for Paris, New York, Barcelona and up to 20 major destinations by the end of next year."
