Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group has appointed Perception Sales and Marketing as its UK MICE market representative.

The company will hold the first of a series of events for buyers to meet representatives from the group on 2 March in Cheshire.

Mandarin Oriental has 41 hotels in operation or under development, representing more than 10,000 rooms in 25 countries.

Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group vice president sales and marketing EMEA Diana Banks said: "The group and meetings market is a key focus for Mandarin Oriental and it is our pleasure to appoint Perception to assist us in this area of the business."

Perception Sales and Marketing director Cath Couzens said: "Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group fits seamlessly with our existing portfolio of luxury hotels and offers new destinations for our loyal client base of event agencies and corporate clients."
