Imago has announced plans to rename the property the Link Hotel, Loughborough, and refurbish its 84 rooms, reception, lounge and restaurant.

Other properties in Imago's portfolio include conference centres Burleigh Court and Holywell Park, plus the conference and meeting space at the university itself.

Imago chief executive Kay England said the hotel's strategic location, near the M1 motorway and Loughborough University's Science Park and Sport Park, made it an excellent addition to the portfolio.

She added: "This new site will open up a different arena and a fresh audience for Imago, but will still maintain strong links back to the campus and what Loughborough University has to offer.

"It will be perfect for business people who will look to use the location as a hub for meetings and the accommodation for short-term stays."
