The Scottish chef's new retsaurant, The Kailyard by Nick Nairn, is due to open on 28 January at the refurbished hotel.
Nairn, a familiar face from the BBC's Saturday Kitchen and Great British Menu programmes, is opening his third restaurant after ther success of Braeval, near Aberfoyle, and Nairn's in Glasgow.
He said: "Being a local lad I have grown up visiting the hotel for various events over the years and am delighted that this iconic hotel has been refurbished to reflect its true glory. I believe this great hotel deserves a fantastic dining option to match."
The 200-room hotel, which dates back to 1878, offers a 17-metre indoor swimming pool, Livingwell Health & Leisure Club and eight conference and meeting rooms, with capacity for up to 600 delegates.
