Moyes was previously exhibition director of World Travel Market, which is owned by Reed Travel Exhibitions.

He has worked in the industry for more than 15 years and managed and directed events for Informa and Brintex Exhibitions.

His new remit is to manage teams in five continents and oversee the ongoing development and expansion of Reed Travel Exhibitions' international portfolio of events that include EIBTM in Spain, GIBTM In Abu Dhabi, CIBTM in Beijing, AIBTM (which launches in Baltimore in 2011), and AIME in Melbourne.

Reed Travel Exhibitions' meeting and events portfolio chair Vanessa Cotton said: "We now have a superb group exhibition director with unrivalled international operational experience, business background and contacts, an experienced executive team at our headquarters in the UK and regional meetings industry professionals in Asia, the Middle East, the US, and Australia."

Reed Travel Exhibitions has also promoted EIBTM exhibition director Mandy Torrens to the post of head of marketing and buyer programmes for its entire portfolio.

Torrens takes responsibility for managing marketing of all events to maximise Reed Travel Exhibitions' global reach and market presence.

Her new remit also includes leading the development of Reed Travel Exhibitions' educational and association relationships, and integrating and improving buyer programmes across the portfolio.

Graeme Barnett, formerly CIBTM and GIBTM exhibition director, has replaced Torrens in the role of EIBTM exhibition director.

Reed Travel Exhibitions plans to make announcements about senior staff at AIBTM, GIBTM and CIBTM over the next few weeks.
