The revamped stadium, in Dublin, is set to host the CEPIC Congress 2010, which will bring together 700 delegates from European picture agencies and picture-archive services, plus the College of Anaesthetists of Ireland's annual conference, which will attract 300 delegates across three days.
Aviva Stadium marketing manager Cailin Keaney said business wins had been secured from competitor destinations including Barcelona, Berlin and Paris.
She added: "Judging by the enquiries coming in, the message is certainly out there that we are about to open for business."
The stadium, which will be part of Lime Venue Portfolio, will offer meeting space on six levels with capacity for up to 2,000 delegates.
Lime Venue Portfolio head Louise Amphlett said: "At the beginning of a decade set to revolve around sport, and taking into consideration the success of other sporting venues, it is very exciting to be launching the Aviva Stadium."
