The Hyatt at Capital Centre will be located within Abu Dhabi's Capital Gate development, next to the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.

The hotel will occupy the top half of a 35-floor assymetrical tower, which is designed as a city landmark.

Former Grand Hyatt Dubai manager Ashwini Kumar has been appointed to run the 189-room property, which will include a sky lobby offering views of Yas and Saadiyat islands.

ADNEC Group CEO Simon Horgan said: "Hyatt at Capital Centre is poised to becomea hotel of choice for the affluent business traveller visiting Abu Dhabi. We therefore need a general manager who understands what it takes to operate a landmark hotel in such an iconic building."
