Lime Wood, Hampshire
November saw the unveiling of Lime Wood, a country-house property in the heart of the New Forest. It offers 16 rooms in the main house, while the new Pavilions, Crescent and Coach House buildings offer a further 11 suites and two rooms, with fine dining in two restaurants. Le Gray, Lebanon
The much-anticipated Le Gray, sister hotel to London's One Aldwych, has opened in Beirut. The chic 87-room property is located in downtown Beirut, a 15-minute drive from the airport. It offers a boardroom for up to 12 as well as a range of bars and restaurants. Web: www.campbellgrayhotels.com

Runnymede-on-Thames, Surrey
The 180-room Runnymede-on-Thames has completed a major refurbishment of its event spaces and public areas. The property has launched 13 new spaces. The largest, the Grand Union Suite, can host 350 delegates theatre-style or 300 for dinner. A new glass extension opens up river views from the lobby. Web: www.runnymedehotel.com

Corinthia Hotel, Portugal
A 3,000m2 health spa has opened at the Corinthia Hotel Lisbon. The £3.6m Malo spa offers a heated pool, Jacuzzis, saunas, a hammam and 13 fully equipped treatment rooms, including a number of Spa Suites where delegates can unwind and enjoy a range of treatments. The hotel is set in the heart of Lisbon's financial district, and offers 518 rooms. Web: www.corinthiahotels.com

Hotel Arts Barcelona, Spain
C&I favourite Hotel Arts Barcelona has boosted its meeting facilities with the launch of a new dedicated events space, Arts 41. Located on the 40th and 41st floors of the property, Arts 41 is comprised of six meeting spaces that can host up to 200 people. Hilton, Romania
Hilton has signed an agreement to open a Doubletree by Hilton in Oradea, Romania in September 2010, with 147 rooms and a thermal spa. Web: www.hilton.com

Brooklands Hotel, UK
Mercedes-Benz World will feature a 120-room hotel from March 2010, run by Hilwood Resorts. It will offer event space for up to 170. Web: www.mercedes-benz.co.uk/world

Chiswick Moran, London
The Moran Hotel Group has been granted planning permission to add 81 new rooms, 16 meeting spaces and a banqueting space. Web: moranhotels.com

Intercontinental, Argentina
Intercontinental Hotels & Resorts has signed an agreement to build a 218-room hotel in Mendoza with ten meeting spaces. Web: www.ihg.com
