The US-based venue-finder, meetings procurer and destination management company is launching HPN Global in March, in a joint venture with agency Meetings International.
HPN Global has appointed Thomas Hallin, who previously directed Marriott's North American sales efforts in its UK and Irish properties, as vice president international, UK and Northern Europe.
Hallin's remit is to build relationships with corporate and association clients in Europe and the US to expand HPN's European presence and trans-Atlantic group business.
HPN chief executive William Kilburg said Hallin would recruit and train new sales staff based in strategic locations throughout Europe.
"HPN's joint venture with Meetings International will create an international division of HPN Global, allowing us to expand and move into international markets with a strong team in place," said Kilburg.
HPN is based in Scottsdale in the US and has staff in 45 countries.
