Thailand hosted around 628,653 C&I visitors in 2009, compared to 727,723 in 2008.

The Thailand Convention and Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) is targeting buyers at EIBTM this week with a ´Thailand Maximise´ proposition focusing on the country´s value for money appeal.

TCEB president Akapol Sorasuchart said: "Thailand offers unbeatable value for money for companies and associations which need to prove value to shareholders and deliver a high quality convention or incentive meeting."

Thailand is aiming for 15% growth in the European long haul MICE marketing in 2010, he added.
