Tesco, Procter & Gamble, Virgin and Carphone Warehouse business wins have helped Bluehat UK boost profits in 2009.

Bluehat is predicting 30% profit growth this year following the client wins. The agency has completed employee engagement briefs for P&G and Virgin within the past two weeks.

Bluehat managing director Tim Shepley said that as a result of these and other business wins, the agency would recruit up to three new account managers to bolster its current workforce of less than 20.

He said: "Business was very difficult until May but since June we have been busier than ever. Companies are realising the power of holding team-building events for staff with specific business messages. That combination, with interactivity and participation, is extremely effective and we're delighted that our hard work in this area is being recognised by new and existing clients."
