The event will be open to association event planners in the afternoon and to corporate and agency buyers in the evening, with the chance to meet Singapore's venue partners.

The event will be held place at the Reform Club, and will kick-start a series of eight European marketing events.

Singapore Tourism Board also plans to ramp up the number of UK fam trips it will host in 2010 as the destination prepares for a series of major venue developments in the first quarter of the year.

These include the Marina Bay Sands integrated resort, which will offer three hotel towers featuring 2,500 rooms and Singapore's first casino, and Resorts World Sentosa, which will offer Universal Studios, the Marine Life Park, six themed hotels and meeting facilities for up to 12,000 delegates.

Singapore Tourism Board's Singapore Exhibition & Convention Bureau is also offering funding support to event planners under the Business Events (BE) in Singapore scheme, with extra support available for events confirmed before March 2010 and held before 2012.
