Yas Hotel opens in Abu Dhabi

The five-star Yas Hotel opened this week on Yas Island in Abu Dhabi with 499 rooms.

It offers 14 restaurants and lounges, and a spa with ten treatment rooms, a gym, sauna and steam rooms and two rooftop swimming pools.

Event space covers 1,760sqm and includes a 509sqm ballroom, six meeting rooms and four boardrooms.

The property is a ten-minute drive from Abu Dhabi International Airport and 15 minutes from Abu Dhabi city centre.

Abu Dhabi's existing and upcoming attractions include:

  • Yas Marina Circuit
  • 18-hole Links Championship Golf Course
  • Ferrari World Abu Dhabi (opening 2010)
  • Warner Bros Theme Park (opening 2012)
  • Yas Mall (opening 2012)
  • Several marinas
