More than 800 delegates and 185 exhibitors attended the Annual Oral Health Conference & Exhibition, providing an estimated £600,000 boost to the local economy.
The two-day event was centred around BIC's Tregonwell Hall, with exhibitions in the Purbeck Hall and catering in the Solent Hall.
BSDHT events administrator Ann Craddock said: "One of the great things about the BIC is its layout, including adjoining halls, which suits multi-room events like ours. The fact that we had our own dedicated entrance at the back of the building made the event private and self-contained."
BIC head of conferences, exhibitions and events Clive Tyers added: "The medical association is an important market for us."
