ITC Royal Gardenia opens for business in Bangalore

ITC Welcomgroup is opening the five-star ITC Royal Gardenia in Bangalore on 1 November.

The 292-room property will offer almost 6,000sqm of meeting space including the Mysore Hall, which is said to be the largest hall without pillars in the city, the outdoor Botania area and the Cassia boardroom.

It also offers four restaurants, the Kaya Kalp Spa and Highland Nectar whisky bar.

The hospitality group has been emphasising the ITC Royal Gardenia's environmental credentials, such as its waste-management and energy-efficiency policies.

A spokesman said: "The ITC Royal Gardenia is the first green luxury hotel in the city that plans to deliver the best in responsible luxury and giving back more to the environment."

ITC Welcomgroup currently operates 15 properties in India under five different brands - ITC Hotels Luxury Collection, ITC Welcomgroup Sheraton, Welcom Hotels, Fortune Hotels and Welcom Heritage.
