
The agency conducted research among 24 Irish-based associations which highlighted the challenges faced by those relying upon discretionary funding from their members.
MCI Dublin is advising professional associations and other groups to prove their value to existing members in order to maintain revenue streams.
"Organisations should spend as much time, if not more, on retaining current members as generating new ones and fully audit and review all expenses and costs to ensure competitive advantage," said MCI Dublin's statement.
