Bayer, Cisco, Microsoft and GM appoint Fitch Live

Fitch Live has announced a record month for account wins, securing business from major brands including Bayer, Cisco Systems, Microsoft and GM Europe.

Pharmaceutical giant Bayer and technology specialist Cisco Systems are new additions to Fitch Live's roster, while existing clients GM Europe and Microsoft have handed new experiential briefs to the agency.

Bayer Schering Pharma AG appointed Fitch Live following a four-way pitch dominated by specialist pharmaceutical agencies. The agency's first task is to manage the brand's presence at the XIX FIGO World Congress of Gynaecology & Obstetrics in Cape Town from 4-6 October.

Cisco Systems, meanwhile, has briefed Fitch Live to work on its annual partner summit in San Francisco in June 2010.

Fitch Live beat three local German agencies in a GM Europe pitch to handle the pan-European launch of the new Opel Astra in Berlin on 11 November.

The agency has also cemented its relationship with Microsoft following a four-way pitch in Seattle, which saw its appointment to support the brand's presence at next year's Mobile World Congress.

The technology giant also awarded Fitch Live the global contract to develop creative for its Tech-Ed EMEA event.

Fitch Live managing director Paul Cowan said: "This latest series of wins is not just great news for our agency, but I believe it is also a genuine reflection of the wider state of the industry. We have seen real traction over the past few months across all client sectors, which indicates that there is definitely increasing confidence in the market."
