Green Globe awards Ovation Global DMC bronze accreditation

The international sustainability organisation has given DMC ‘bronze' status in recognition of its benchmarking of its energy and water consumption and for implementing an environmental and social policy.

Ovation Global DMC's headquarters in Dublin has reduced paper consumption by 18%, and saved an average of 2,000kg of carbon dioxide each month under the guidance of the agency's Green Team.

Managing director Patrick Delaney said the eco-certification is acknowledgment that Ovation Global DMC is a sustainability leader.

"Everyone at Ovation is passionate about the environment and makes every effort to improve and enhance our performance in this area," he said. "Getting bronze certification reinforces our commitment to achieving sustainable outcomes and will challenge the team to attain silver accreditation in the next stage of the Green Globe process."
