He is among several senior-level staff redundancies at the agency this year, following the merging of Lynton Cooper, Eclipse Conference Management, and Travel Management Team to create a single event agency, W&O Events.
Nevill had been with Lynton Cooper for around 30 years and held the role of director of operations prior to the rebrand in March.
W&O Events declined to comment on Nevill's departure. It is believed a fall in incentive travel budgets is among the reasons behind the need to cut overheads.
Paul Evans, former head of marketing at Lynton Cooper, was made redundant from the agency following completion of the rebrand and is currently on gardening leave. Other redundancies have included Gerry Manser, former Lynton Cooper managing director plus a senior member of the Travel Management Team .
