Bath-based Top Banana Team made a gross profit of £1.12m and pre-tax profits of £281,927, up 8% on the previous year.

Top Banana Team managing director Pete Saunders said the financial results were encouraging.

"So far, 2009 has seen us move ahead of last year, but we will, of course, need to work hard to continue this progress," he said.

The agency has had a number of new business wins this year, including the annual National Network for Learning Disability Nurses conference, which was held at Robinson College in Cambridge on 29-30 June.

It has also organised the Continuing Adult Respiratory Education Convention, summer parties for FMCG and engineering companies, and an incentive to Ibiza for an IT client this summer.

Top Banana Team has recently bolstered its staff with the addition of project manager Anna Armishaw and project administrator Laura Fisher.
