The St Regis Mexico City has opened with two ballrooms and three restaurants.

The luxury hotel also offers 189 rooms and the Remède Spa.

The Mexico property offers 1,134sqm of indoor event space including the 836sqm Astor Ballroom, the 241sqm Diamond Ballroom and four break-out spaces.

The property is located on the Paseo de la Reforma boulevard overlooking Plaza of Diana, 30 minutes from Benito Juarez International Airport.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Latin America president Osvaldo Librizz said: "The opening not only launches our most exclusive brand in Mexico City, but also reaffirms our deep commitment to the country with which we have both a long history, as well as strong future growth plans."
