NHS Leeds held its Innovation in Community Services Conference at the Leeds Metropolitan University's Rose Bowl on 15 June.

Some 220 health care representatives attended the conference, which aimed to showcase the service developments being undertaken by NHS Leeds Community Healthcare.

NHS Leeds chief executive Christine Outram, NHS Leeds Community Healthcare director of care services Philomena Corrigan and chief nursing officer Christine Beasley were among the conference speakers.

NHS Leeds conference organiser Beverley Smyth said: "I found the input from Well Met Conferencing very reassuring.  To be able to ring or email the conference team and have queries regarding layouts or bookings dealt with so quickly and efficiently took a lot of the stress out of the organisation process."

The afternoon programme included a series of workshops and break-out sessions on subjects such as rehabilitation and ‘end of life' care.
