Starwood and Banyan Tree are set to open luxury properties in Navarino, Greece, by 2011.
The Romanos, part of Starwood's Luxury Collection, will open in 2010 and will offer 321 rooms, plus restaurants, bars, a golf course and a 4,000sqm spa and a thalassotherapy centre.
The Westin Resort will also open next year with 445 rooms and three restaurants.
Meeting space includes a 5,000sqm conference centre with capacity for 2,000 delegates, a grand ballroom, 11 meeting rooms and an atrium.
Banyan Tree Costa Navarino is set to open in 2011. The luxury property will offer 117 villas, three restaurants and a wine cellar and a spa
Meeting space will include a 250sqm ballroom, break-out rooms and a banqueting lawn with patio area.
