Live events played a key role in creating a website for 16-24-year-olds for the Financial Services Authority (FSA), says COI senior research manager Krishan Lathigra.

Speaking at the Creating Consumer Chemistry marketing conference in London last week, Lathigra and Nancy MacDonald, research director at research firm 2CV, said that live workshops for young people garnered information that provided the main framework for the FSA's website that offers financial advice, information and guidance to young people.

"These workshops move us into an environment which is conducive to co-creation and create an energy in the room," said Lathigra. "So using events that creative an interactive environment is extremely important to COI," he said.

Creating Consumer Chemistry was organised by the Cello Group and was held at The Royal Institution.
