The Eventia Awards are set to replace the Eventia UK and International Awards with one ceremony that will combine the key categories from both celebratory events.

In association with Conference & Incentive Travel and sister title Event magazine, the new set of awards will take place in early 2010, replacing the ceremonies that have traditionally been held in November and February each year.

Eventia CEO Izania Downie said: "The UK and International Awards were staged within two months of each other, often entered  by the same companies, and placing demands on finalists in both to attend two events. Creating the one event will mean even more recognition of projects, clients, agencies and suppliers because they will be competing in a tougher competition."

The categories will be reviewed and announced on www.citmagazine.com
