IT companies are faced with the balancing act of running events on reduced budgets without compromising the quality of their delegates' experience. This and the sector's other challenges including last-minute decision-making about events will be debated at C&IT's Brand Book Live event on 30 June.

St Martins Lane London will host both corporate and agency event planners specialising in the IT sector to debate the state of the industry.

C&IT's editor Yasmin Arrigo said: "The growing popularity of roadshows being run by IT brands has been countered by a reduction in national conferences. It's also prompted IT companies to turn to non-traditional venues and UK destinations. "

C&IT's first ever Brand Book Live event will include roundtables on the automotive, financial, retail, pharmaceutical, telecoms and IT sectors. The roundtables, taking place from 4.45pm, will then be followed by the launch party for C&IT's Brand Book 2009.
