Property firm OCS appoints BSI

UK accommodation and meeting bookings to be managed by the agency

Property support services firm OCS has appointed BSI to manage its UK accommodation and meeting bookings.

BSI's remit includes the negotiation of rates, and food and beverage discounts at OCS' preferred venues.

It also covers vetting of hotels and venues based on their performance based on feedback from OCS staff. Properties that do not meet agreed minimum standards will not be added to the OCS preferred property list.

The account is being managed by a dedicated team based at BSI's Cheadle office, and OCS staff will be able to use the agency's online accommodation-booking tool, BSI Direct, which provides access to more than 115,000 properties throughout the world.

OCS strategic buyer Gill Yates said:  "We were impressed by the savings that BSI's service was able to offer OCS, and its approach to duty of care. BSI's approach to ensuring the highest levels of customer service were key in our appointment decision."

BSI group managing director Trevor Elswood said: "BSI is working with OCS to continually secure the best possible properties and rates."
