Thai spa brand Devarana is opening at the new luxury hotel Il Salviatino, Florence this June - its first facility in Europe.
Il Salviatino - a 15th century palazzo on the outskirts of Florence - is currently undergoing a £13.5m restoration.
Its Devarana Spa will occupy 600sqm, with five treatment rooms and suites, plus 14 Devarana Deluxe bedrooms.
The spa draws on authentic Thai healing therapies and western disciplines to offer a host of "East meets west" treatments, according to the company. Packages include ‘Harmony of Tad Si', an ancient Thai therapy based on Buddhist teachings, and ‘Tuscany Journey Reviver', designed for unwinding.
"We are delighted to be selected to manage the first Devarana Spa in Florence," said Devarana Spa managing director Wipawadee Sirimongkolkasem.
