Life and pensions company Aegon has appointed Sportsworld to deliver its hospitality at top-tier tennis events following its five-year partnership with British Tennis.

The agency will work with the Lawn Tennis Association to provide hospitality at the Aegon Championships (Queen's Club), the Aegon Classic (Edgbaston), the Aegon International (Eastbourne), Wimbledon, Davis and Federation Cup matches and the ATP World Tour Finals (The O2).

Sportsworld will also manage all guest invitations across Aegon's British Tennis partnership portfolio, which runs from 2009 to 2013.

The agency was appointed following a competitive tender.

Aegon's director of marketing and customer strategy Steve Clode said: "They will play a key role in helping us design an ‘Aegon experience' that enriches our business relationships, as well as co-ordinating delivery on the ground."
