Leeds Metropolitan University has secured three more contracts for its recently launched venue, the Rose Bowl.
The Academy of Marketing and the Royal Anthropological Institute have confirmed bookings for later this year and the Rose Bowl will also be the venue for Leeds Business Week.
The £50m conferencing facility launched with a gala dinner for the British Universities Finance Directors Group (BUFDG) earlier this month, as part of its three-day conference at the university.
BUFDG conference organiser Andrew McConnell commented: "I believe the conference was the best ever and I have had only positive comments from delegates."
The venue offers seven lecture theatres, which can accommodate up to 256 delegates as well as breakout facilities for larger conferences.
They feature free wi-fi, data projection, portable and permanent screens, DVD and video monitors.
