UK Esports Association appoints Captiva to run Game On! London event

Agency to organise two-day consumer exhibition and gaming finals

Captiva Event Management has been appointed by the UK Esports Association (UKESA) to organise the first ever Game On! London, a two-day consumer event for computer gamers.

The event, which is being held at the National Hall at Olympia on 21 and 22 June, will feature finals of a three-month season of online gaming competitions, as well as offering gaming enthusiasts with the chance to see and play the latest games from the world's top publishers.

Captiva managing director Jeremy Robinson said: "We are delighted to be organising the first ever Game On! London with UKeSA. This is an important milestone for eSports in the UK and it's extremely exciting to be part of it."

UKeSA chief executive Ray Mia added: "Establishing live finals for the UKeSA leagues is an important part of our growth strategy. The finals will attract significant footfall from the eSports community, but adding in a gaming expo extends the audience massively.

"Obviously, to deliver an event of this scale requires an experienced and dynamic partner, which we have found in Captiva Event Management."
