MPI announces new UK board

Line up includes Barbican's Anthony Hyde and Organise This' Fiona Pelham

Meeting Professionals International (MPI) UK Chapter has unveiled its new board for 2009/10.

Barbican head of corporate sales Anthony Hyde will become president, EBITM exhibition director Mandy Torrens becomes past president, and Organise This director Fiona Pelham will become president-elect.

Hyde said: "Over the past two years, presidents Mandy Torrens and Paul Cook have taken the MPI UK Chapter forward in leaps and bounds.

"I look forward to continuing this work with the support and dedication of a great board. We have ambitious plans, which will benefit from the wealth of expertise joining me to run the chapter for the next 12 months."

The association's members have approved the new board, which will come into effect on 1 July 2009.
