Fifty practical steps to make events greener will be revealed at the Sustainable Events Summit 2009.
The event is designed to arm events professionals with 50 actions they can take back to their companies to make their events more environmentally friendly.
Arup sustainable event management consultant Neil Grange, LOCOG head of sustainability David Stubbs, BSI head of market development - sustainability Anne Hayes, and Julie's Bicycle director Alison Tickell are among the speakers.
BBC One Show presenter Lucy Siegle will chair the event, which takes place at One Wimpole Street, London on 22 May.
Seventeen Events and Green Business Events are managing the summit.
Some 250 senior event managers, suppliers and media are anticipated to attend the event, which was formerly run under the name Greening Events Summit and last year attracted 200 delegates.
