London is the most expensive C&I destination in Europe, according to findings by Oxford International.
The event company compared quotes from low-cost airlines and four-star properties in Manchester, London, Lisbon and Monte Carlo for a two-day meeting for 50 European delegates.
Manchester offered the best value at £972.01 per delegate, the report found, while London came in at £174.98 more at £1,146.99.
Oxford International managing director John Walker said the report was created as clients had been asking if the UK was cheaper than Europe.
Visit London commercial director David Hornby said: "London is still a busy city and its popularity means it is retaining its value."
He questioned the credibility of the findings saying: "Even in London there are vast differences in four-star hotel prices."
