London event agency the Finishing Touch has expanded and rebranded its free venue-finding service, Venues First, to drive revenue.
The agency's venue database has increased from around 3,000 to over 40,000.
A standalone website, www.venuesfirst.co.uk, has been launched.
The company has also launched partner brands Production First and Solutions First, providing AV and event planning services.
The Finishing Touch managing director Mel Atkins said: "With the downturn in the economy we are aiming to grow our venue finding division, which is a free service to clients that saves them money as well as time. It is equally important for us to present the right options as much as securing the best rates."
