Aviation specialist Farnborough International has appointed Zibrant as its official accommodation agent.

The agency's remit will comprise accommodation provision for the Farnborough International Airshow in 2010, Bahrain International 2010, events at Farnborough's Five venue, and corporate travel for Farnborough International.

Farnborough International projects and events manager Michelle Clover said: "Zibrant plans to develop a comprehensive online booking system tailored to our events and will work closely with our team to deliver a comprehensive, customer-focused service that can be used by exhibitors and visitors."

Zibrant managing director (sales) Fay Sharpe added: "Farnborough International Airshow is the biggest event of its type in the world, in 2008 it attracted more than 270,000 visitors."

Elsewhere, the agency has recently won accounts with several big-name clients including AstraZeneca, BT and BP.
