The Society of Incentive Travel Executives (SITE) is to hold its 2010 international conference in South Africa.

The event runs from 4-7 December 2010 in Cape Town, attracting an estimated 400 delegates from the C&I industry.

Currently SITE has more than 2 100 member in 87 countries.

"As a global leader in our space, what better way to live our mission than to select a destination that exemplifies diversity, growth and an eye for the future," said SITE chief executive Brenda Anderson.

"This is a great coup," said South African Tourism global manager (business tourism) Nomasonto Ndlovu. "It's all well and good to tell people what an impressive destination South Africa is, but the value of incentive travel decision makers coming here is as valuable as our marketing messages."
