Rapport Events reports record year

Business wins for Bank of Scotland and Astrazeneca help drive revenues

Manchester agency Rapport Events has seen turnover rise from £1.5m to £2.2m on the back of new business wins.

Account wins in the last 12 months have included a national series of events for Bank of Scotland Corporate, a worldwide series of events for pharmaceutical giant Astrazeneca as well events for Nord Anglia and Marks and Spencer's Per Una fashion brand.

Rapport also delivered the North West Development Agency's Tourism Awards at St George's Hall, Liverpool after a tender involving 50 companies.

"Although 2009 will undoubtedly be challenging for businesses, effective communication is paramount and with Rapport's full service event, design & communication offering we are perfectly positioned to help clients meet their objectives in 2009," said Rapport director Chris Teague.
