The company is launching a strategy to strengthen its international DMC, PCO, marketing, operations and communication services.

It was founded in Hanover in 2006 to co-ordinate the activities of companies within the Tui group, and specialise in destination services for C&I customers.

The move is planned to allow the company to draw on Tui España's experience and knowledge in the market.

The Barcelona office will be the base for creating the global strategy, providing commercial, marketing and business development support to companies in 33 countries, with a team of more than 300 people.

Tui Event Management director Delfí Torns said: "We have strong plans for growth by implementing new products and benefiting from common resources throughout the group."
