George P Johnson boosts digital offer through acquisitions

Event specialist buys online marketing agency and mobile device platform

Event marketing agency George P Johnson has boosted its services with the acquisition of online marketing agency Juxt Interactive and mobile device platform MobilePromote.

The agency said the acquisitions would strengthen its existing technology and digital strategy capabilities and support its new GPJ OnLive digital approach to experiential marketing.

George P Johnson VP and general manager EMEA Kim Myhre said: "Companies looking to differentiate their brands and truly engage with customers are seeking a new generation of experiential marketing approaches.

"These investments by GPJ represent an evolution in brand marketing that we strongly believe in, where integrated online and live experiences serve as the centrepiece to marketing campaigns that deliver measurable business results."
