Thomas Cook's conference in Turkey has won two awards at the recent Livecom event.

The conference for 2,500 Thomas Cook employees, which was organised by agency DRP Group, won the Internal Experience Award and the Award for Motivation and Inspiration at the awards ceremony hosted by the International Visual Communications Association on 3 December at the London Stock Exchange.

DRP Group had just five weeks to organise the three-day conference, which was held in the wake of My Travel's merger with Thomas Cook.

The agency's managing director, Dale Parmenter said: "We are thrilled to receive these awards in recognition of our work. They are proof of the group's ability to deliver tailor-made and innovative events that impact positively on our clients' business, just as these awards reflect positively on us."
