Ansell Healthcare hires Sledge for experiential B2B push

Interactive truck campaign set for European tour kicking off in London

Agency Sledge has been appointed by Ansell Healthcare to create a nationwide campaign aimed at the construction industry.

Entitled ‘Putting safety in your hands', the push is designed to promote Ansell's safety gloves to tradesmen.

The creative will see Sledge convert a fire truck as an Ansell interactive vehicle, which will tour large construction sites in the London area in the coming weeks and then head across the UK.

The interactive experiences on board will enable visitors to test the range of gloves for size, strength, comfort, tactility, vibration resistance and protection against chemicals, cuts and abrasion.

All visitors will also take away an Ansell glove guard.

"The fire truck will really make a splash and the Ansell teams will be on hand to encourage interaction, educate and add a touch of glamour," Sledge sales and marketing director Ian Irving said.

As well as the London tour, the Ansell campaign is also set to visit Interbuild 2008, the UK's largest trade fair for building professionals, before a UK and European tour starts later this month.
