Shine shortlist sees Silversea Cruises head nominated

Trudy Redfern up for Corporate Woman Award

This shortlist for this year's Shine Awards - which recognise successful women in tourism - have seen Silversea Cruises' UK managing director Trudy Redfern nominated in the Shine Corporate Woman category.

The nominations were judged at the Abu Dhabi Tourism Office in London by a panel including Philippe Rossiter, chief executive of the Institute of Hospitality.

"The high quality of the nominees provided the judges with a challenging, but rewarding, task of identifying the winners in each category," Rossiter said.

The winners of the Shine 2008 Awards will be announced on 26 November at held at the London Metropolitan University.
