Agency profit-to-turnover ratios for 2007 revealed

Financial Benchmarks: UK Event Organisers study unveils last year's rankings

Just eight event agencies in the UK pulled in more than 10% profits/turnover ratio last year, according to this year's Financial Benchmarks: UK Event Organisers study, carried out by Brett Howell Associates.

The report, which analyses 2007 financial results for 54 agencies, also found that just three agencies named in its top ten rankings by pre-tax profits - Adelphi Group, Reed & Mackay and the Turner Agency - also reached the top ten by pre-tax profit as a percentage of turnover.
