Agency First Protocol has appointed client services director Ed Stanger to its board.

Stanger joined London-based First Protocol 10 months ago with a brief to develop the consultative aspect of its service offering.

His CV includes time with the Department of Trade and Industry and as co-founder of London restaurants chain "Soup and Salad".

Prior to joining First Protocol he spent five years as a "corporate turnaround and strategy specialist" for two City-based consulting practises.

"Bringing Ed into the business is one of the smartest moves we've ever made," said First Protocol chief executive Richard Waddington. "He brings the insight and experience to help us support clients with a deeper understanding of their sectors and challenges, as well as an informed perspective on global economics."
