Vantage Point has acquired fellow London agency Travel Impact for an undisclosed sum.

The two brands will be brought together under the umbrella company Vantage Point Group, which will also include Vantage Point's winter sports offshoot, the Corporate Ski Company.

All staff - eight at Vantage Point and six at Travel Impact - will keep their jobs and will be brought together in one office by Christmas. Currently Travel Impact is based in Richmond and Vantage Point are nearby in Wimbledon and it is thought the new office will be in the latter area.

"We have been looking to acquire for some time and it quickly became clear that this was a great opportunity," Vantage Point managing director John Denham told C&IT. "The size of the businesses are comparable, with both bringing over £2m turnover in 2008 and are also complementary. We have our ski operation and then mostly do European events, while Travel Impact do a lot of long-haul incentives as well as UK and European projects."
