Glasgow-based DMC Hello Scotland has opened an office in England to attract business south of the border as well as booking business at its Scottish office.

The new office is located in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, and its staff will focus on attracting corporate groups from the UK and overseas to the Midlands. It will offer event management and conferencing services as well as incentive packages.

Hello Scotland general manager Isla Buchanan is heading up the England office with a remit to build the business in the Midlands and boost business in Scotland.

"Hello Scotland recently secured a deal with Austria's Raiffeisen Bank's travel agency worth more than £1m to bring their clients to Scotland in 2009 and we believe we can replicate that level of success in England," said Buchanan.
