Asda staff are celebrating having been confirmed the latest winners of Hand Picked Hotels' ‘house party' competition.

As winners of the second round of the competition, Asda staff will enjoy a £12,000 house party at one of Hand Picked's 17 country house properties. Sixty employees and partners will receive an exclusive stay, inclusive of Champagne reception, gourmet meal, wine, accommodation and breakfast.

"We are delighted to have won and we are very much looking forward to enjoying the hospitality after a busy and successful year," said Asda buyer training manager Jo Cooper. Asda was entered into the draw after booking a series of training events at Crathorne Hall Hotel in August and October 2008 with Hand Picked Hotels when the company was the first name out of the hat.

The competition continues with a final third currently underway.
